Design Engineer - #1122798

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design carbide press tools for high-precision metal stamped parts, deep-draw parts, and forming parts.

• Study part drawings and prepare layouts according to product requirements independently.

• Complete tool design in accordance with technical and production specifications.

• Ensure smooth transition from product design and development to production.

• Resolve design and technical issues promptly, recommending improvements for new and existing tools.

• Coordinate with toolmakers during tooling assembly and testing.

• Provide guidance to draughtswomen on simple tooling design modifications.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors and/or management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die Engineering.

• Certification in relevant design software.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in tool and die design.

• Strong practical knowledge in tool design and manufacturing technology — including high-speed progressive tool design, forming or multi-slide design, machining, assembly, troubleshooting, and dimensional inspection.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, V6, SolidWorks, and other CAD programs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
