Position Summary
This position is to lead procurement activities across the APAC region. The responsibility includes building Company’s procurement function across multiple countries, establishing a centralized contract management repository, developing regional sourcing strategies, managing RFQs and vendor selection processes, and driving cost-saving initiatives across logistics and warehousing operations.
This position will need to collaborate with stakeholders across the region to ensure procurement excellence and alignment with Company’s business objectives.
This position will also gain the chance to be a key influencer in shaping financial strategies across the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Regional Procurement Leadership – Develop and implement procurement strategies across APAC, ensuring best practices and compliance.
Contract Management – Establish and maintain a central contract repository to optimize supplier agreements.
Strategic Sourcing – Design sourcing strategies tailored to regional market dynamics and business needs.
Vendor Management – Oversee RFQs, lead negotiations, and manage vendor selection across multiple APAC markets.
Cost Optimization – Identify and implement price-saving opportunities at a regional level.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align procurement strategies across different countries and cultures.
Qualifications Summary
Experience:
This position requires minimum 10 – 15 years relevant work experience.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Skills:
Extensive procurement experience within an MNC, with a proven ability to establish procurement functions across multiple geographies.
Strong background in logistics and warehousing procurement, including supplier management and contract negotiations.
Exceptional negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to secure favourable terms across diverse markets.
Clear and effective communicator, comfortable working across various levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds.
Ownership mindset and drive, capable of independently leading and executing procurement initiatives regionally.
Working hours:
Mon to Fri: 8:30am to 6pm
