Position Title: Assistant Manager (Budget Team)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (2 January 2026 – 31 December 2026)
Salary Range: $3,500 – $5,500 per month
Location: Kent Ridge MRT (walking distance)
Reporting To: Assistant Senior Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join the Budget Team on a 1-year contract. This role provides interim support for day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities, ensuring continuity of financial services during staff leave coverage. You will be part of a dynamic finance function that supports strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support routine financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Handle ad-hoc financial requests and prepare analytical data to support management decisions.

• Prepare withholding tax submissions in accordance with statutory requirements.

• Review and update the Risk Control Matrix.

• Perform financial analysis for quarterly reporting and management reviews.

• Streamline workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Prepare and review journal entries and budget transfers.

• Prepare and review WBS creations and submissions.

Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial operations, budgeting, or reporting.

• Knowledge of SAP financial systems (S4 HANA) and analytical tools such as Power BI will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Independent, mature, and able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
