Lab Supervisor

• Basic | $4,000 to $5,200 depends on experience

• Work Details | Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

• Location | Yishun

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including processing, storage, and management of umbilical cord blood, cord tissue units, and lenticules.

• Perform and supervise laboratory procedures in compliance with approved protocols and quality standards.

• Review and ensure the accuracy of client documentation, equipment maintenance logs, QC reports, and EQA results.

• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to junior lab staff and ensure training records are up to date.

• Plan and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety regulations.

• Support inventory management and collaborate closely with the Laboratory Manager and Assistant Laboratory Manager.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline.

• 4–5 years of experience in blood banks, tissue banks, testing, pathology, research, or commercial labs.

• Experience in training, mentoring, and supervising laboratory staff.

• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

• Must be Hepatitis B immunized.
