About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Technician to join our team at S Team Technic Pte. Ltd. in Tuas View Extension, West Region. As the Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical operations and driving the overall efficiency of our technician team. What you'll be doing

1. Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery

2. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of various mechanical and electrical systems

3. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to the technician team

4. Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimise workflow and productivity

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges

6. Provide technical training and mentorship to junior technicians to foster their professional development

7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to service activities and team performance

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technician or Lead Technician in a Marine industry or equivalent

2. Preferably high experience knowledge on 2 stroke marine diesel engine overhaul

3. Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with the technician team

5. Proficient in the use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic software relevant to the industry

6. Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency

7. Commitment to safety protocols and a keen eye for detail
