Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant - Building Materials to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

  • Drive sales growth: Achieve sales targets set by management while representing the company as a specialist in the construction industry.

  • Prospect for opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction market and potential clients for growth.

  • Build relationships: Maintain excellent customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering value.

  • Market analysis: Evaluate and submit analysis on the potential of new customers to support business growth.

  • Network development: Build and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders in the industry, including developers, consultants, architects, and contractors.

  • Lead by example: Serve as a role model who embodies the company's vision, mission, and values, emphasizing personal accountability and business acumen.

  • Project tracking: Keep close track of site progress and provide accurate material forecasts.

  • Strategic communication: Maintain constant communication with the leadership team on current trends, issues, and activities to facilitate decision-making and strategy development.

  • Financial management: Communicate effectively with dealers and customers on terms and conditions to ensure timely payments.

  • Reporting: Provide monthly reports to the manager in the required format.

  • Problem-solving: Offer tailored solutions to customers on a case-by-case basis.

  • Customer support: Provide training, support, and troubleshooting assistance to customers as needed.

Who are they looking for?

  • Industry experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the construction or related industry, with a preference for those in hunter roles.

  • Transportation: Ownership of a car or motorcycle is required. Candidates without a vehicle can be considered but must obtain one within two months of joining.

  • Tech-savvy: High computer literacy to effectively manage sales processes and reporting.

  • Creative thinker: Ability to develop innovative solutions and approaches to sales challenges.

  • Self-motivated: High level of self-motivation and a proactive attitude towards achieving goals.

  • Proven track record: Demonstrated success in personal salesmanship and meeting targets.

  • Strong personality: Confident and assertive approach to sales and client interactions.

  • Hands-on experience: Some exposure to construction or related project sales is beneficial.
