Data Analyst Associate - #1120250

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Data Analyst Associate/ Junior Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our data operations, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with various teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to help them understand key trends, measure performance, and identify opportunities for growth through data.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with data engineers to access and gather data from various sources, performing data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.

• Design, build, and maintain reports and interactive dashboards using BI tools (like Power BI or Tableau) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

• Respond to ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders, providing timely and accurate analysis to support immediate business questions.

• Translate data-driven findings into clear and compelling narratives, charts, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver analytical solutions that meet their needs.

• Contribute to the documentation and improvement of data dictionaries, data collection processes, and reporting methodologies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

• Hands-on experience with a BI and data visualization tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, gained through academic projects or internships.

• A solid understanding of fundamental statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression) and their application in business analysis.

• Familiarity with a programming language for data analysis, such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) or R, is a strong plus.

• Experience working with datasets from internships, academic projects, or personal projects is highly desirable.

• An interest in the transportation or ride-hailing industry is a plus.

• A curious and analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems using data.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and quality.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain data and findings to various audiences.

• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn new tools, techniques, and business concepts.
