About the role

Agatos Software Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated processes and solutions to optimise our software engineering workflows. This is a full-time role based in the Tagore North-East Region.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for our software applications

2. Automate manual processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions

4. Continuously research and implement new automation tools and technologies

5. Provide technical support and training to team members on automation practices

6. Analyse and optimise existing automation scripts and processes

7. Contribute to the overall software engineering strategy and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role

3. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++

4. Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks

5. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and best practices

6. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools

7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
