Job Overview
As a Sales Officer, you are a highly motivated, proactive, resilient, and dynamic individual. You are an individual that loves events and would like to see it come through from the planning to the actual execution of the event. You will support the Sales Executive and work closely with Clients to deliver the best experience for their event and make HomeTeamNS the club-of-choice for our HomeTeamNS members and their families. As a team member, you are also an ‘Ambassador’ and have a hand in ensuring a pleasant experience for all members and guests.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Inquiry Management
Respond promptly to all sales inquiries and qualify client needs, ensuring accurate documentation of lead details.
Conduct professional site inspections of the seminar rooms and ballroom, highlighting key features and capabilities tailored to the client's event requirements
Prepare detailed, customized proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring pricing accuracy and adherence to company policies
Engage in professional negotiation of rental terms, ancillary services, and pricing to secure the booking and close sales deals effectively
Event Operations & Coordination
Liaise with clients to finalize all logistical details, including floor plans, room setups, equipment needs (A/V, lighting), and Food & Beverage (F&B) requirements
Develop detailed Event Orders to communicate client requirements accurately to all supporting internal teams and external vendors
Be present during event setup and execution (including weekends or evenings as required) to supervise operations, troubleshoot immediate issues, and manage vendor/client needs
Administration
Maintain the booking calendar for the facilities.
Preparation of required paperwork such as quotations, event orders, invoicing, etc.
Maintain tracking of the assets of the MICE facilities
Collation and preparation of reports for performance tracking
Job Requirements:
At least one year of relevant Sales / Events experience or related discipline with good command of English.
Prior experience in similar industry will be an added advantage.
Possess confidence, excellent interpersonal skills and is a strong influencer.
Proven ability in client servicing and handling multiple projects / tasks.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work weekends and long hours when required.
