Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing consumer lifestyle brand with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a highly strategic and analytical finance professional to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and support business growth across the region.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the regional FP&A function, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Partner closely with the executive team to drive the company’s medium- to long-term strategic and financial planning.
Coordinate and manage various planning cycles, including annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
Conduct detailed variance analyses on revenue, expenses, and profitability, providing clear explanations and actionable insights to management.
Develop and enhance financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to forecast income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Provide comprehensive reviews and commentary on cost center performance and key business drivers.
Evaluate and recommend adjustments to forecasts and budgets generated by analysts to ensure financial targets are realistic and achievable.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) will be an advantage.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, finance, or business performance management, ideally with exposure to regional or multi-market operations.
Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate business issues into actionable financial insights.
Proficiency in business intelligence, analytics, and reporting tools; advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (including macros) preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Proven track record in leading and developing teams across multiple geographies is a plus.
Agile, hands-on, and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
