QA Manager - #1118649

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in compliance with SFA licensing conditions, HACCP, ISO 22000, Halal, and other standards.

• Lead preparatory work for GACC registration/application to support export operations to China.

• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations for both import and export activities.

• Oversee quality control (QC) processes, including product sampling, testing, and record management.

• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with regulatory and company standards.

• Lead internal and external audits, manage certifications, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

• Conduct mock recall exercises to test and improve recall readiness and product traceability systems.

• Ensure product labelling compliance, including allergen declarations and country-specific requirements.

• Develop and implement sampling plans for raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.

• Provide training and coaching to team members on food safety systems and best practices.

• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues through root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).

• Analyse audit results, customer feedback, and production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities locally and internationally for import/export matters.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science & Technology or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with proven expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, and quality management systems.

• Internal/Lead Auditor certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP principles, and food labelling regulations.

• Experience in auditing, documentation control, and report writing.

• Hands-on approach with strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration abilities.

Location: Boon Lay
Salary: Up to $4,500/month + 13th Month AWS + Variable Bonus (based on personal & company performance)
Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

• Alternate Saturdays: 7:45 AM – 11:45 AM
