About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure hosted on Microsoft Azure, while also supporting security assessments, source code deployments, and network architecture. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our applications and infrastructure in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure and Cloud Operations
Design and maintain a simple three-tier network architecture (web, application, and database layers), incorporating CDN, firewalls, load balancers, and system log collection tools.
Manage Microsoft Azure resources including VM provisioning, auto-scaling, OS patching, backup, and capacity monitoring.
Configure and maintain Azure Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Establish alerting mechanisms for resource utilization and application performance issues.
System Administration and Logging
Analyze IIS logs and Windows Event Logs to identify issues or anomalies.
Participate in system audits and contribute to compliance efforts.
Deployment and Release Management
Support and execute application source code deployments in production and non-production environments.
Collaborate with developers to ensure deployment readiness and rollback strategies.
Cybersecurity and Risk Assessment
Perform cybersecurity risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, and code repositories.
Plan and execute Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), and follow through with mitigation and documentation.
Initiate source code scans using industry-standard tools.
Requirements
Must-Have:
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Experience managing basic network infrastructure including firewalls, CDNs, and load balancers.
Hands-on experience with virtual machines, Azure monitoring tools, and system scaling.
Familiarity with application deployment pipelines and configuration management.
Cybersecurity knowledge with experience conducting VAPT and secure code reviews.
Preferred:
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
Experience with tools like Burp Suite, SonarQube, or similar.
Background in DevOps practices.
