Production Planner

Join our dynamic team at ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services Pte. Ltd. as a Production Planner, where you will play a vital role in enhancing our MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) Services. This position is based at our Aero facility located on Sembawang Airbase, within the Airbase Operations sector, specifically focusing on Heli Operations - CH.

About the Role

As a Production Planner, you will be tasked with ensuring efficient planning and scheduling of production processes to meet customer demands while optimising resources. Your critical thinking and analytical skills will contribute to improving operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of services.

• Coordinate with various departments to gather requirements and forecast production needs.

• Monitor inventory levels and plan for procurement of materials and components.

• Analyse production data to identify trends and implement improvements.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding production status and any potential delays.

• Utilise planning software and tools to enhance production efficiency.

• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in production planning or a similar role, preferably in the RSAF, aviation or aerospace industry.

• Good to have analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively within a diverse team.

• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and scheduling software is preferred.
