Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Payroll leads and oversees the end-to-end payroll function to ensure accurate, scalable, and compliant payroll operations across the organisation. This role manages a payroll team, safeguards confidentiality, drives process optimisation, and supports system rollouts and digital transformation initiatives. The incumbent plays a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & Manage Payroll Operations: Oversee and motivate the payroll team to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable payroll processing across the organisation.
Ensure Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold statutory requirements, company policies, and strict confidentiality of payroll data at all times.
Drive Process Improvements: Identify process gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and streamline workflows to improve payroll efficiency and service delivery.
Implement Automation & Business Initiatives: Lead or support initiatives such as BCP, RPA, and digital enhancements to scale operations and improve accuracy.
Support SAP HCM Deployment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to roll out SAP HCM locally and regionally, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
What You’ll Bring:
Education: A good degree in Human Resource, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience: 8–12 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a Shared Services environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of payroll best practices, employment legislation, CPF, and tax regulations.
kills & Attributes: Meticulous, analytical, able to work under pressure and tight timelines, with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
Systems Proficiency: Good communication and interpersonal skills; experience with SAP is an added advantage.
