Healthcare Assistant - #1118001

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants. You will play an important role in supporting patients and ensuring the smooth operations of our healthcare facilities.

Position: Healthcare Assistant
Location: North-East Region
Salary: Up to $2400

Frontline Role – Job Responsibilities

• Perform computer-based tasks for patient registration (inpatient & outpatient).

• Prepare and receive patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort in waiting areas.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging/procedure rooms, waiting areas, and changing rooms.

• Assist Radiographers during procedures, including chaperoning and patient transfers.

• Guide patients in selecting appropriate gowns for radiographic procedures.

• Clean X-ray accessories, imaging plates, and replenish departmental supplies.

• Provide patient portering and dispatch services when required.

• Support departmental operations by carrying out additional assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent.

• Basic English (reading and writing).

• Able to work on rotating shifts, including overnight shifts.

Backend Role – Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard precautions and wear full PPE during work.

• Rinse soiled surgical supplies and equipment, preparing them for mechanical cleaning.

• Assist in assembling simple instrument sets.

• Ensure sterilised goods are stored on the correct shelves.

• Load and unload supplies and equipment from terminal sterilisers.

• Clean sterilisers and sterile processing equipment.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the department-in-charge.

Requirements:

• Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent.

• Basic English (reading and writing).

• Able to work on rotating shifts, including overnight shifts.

• Comfortable with the responsibilities listed above.
