Get to Know the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Machinery Operation:

  • Execute manufacturing processes according to established procedures and guidelines.

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.

• Operation Monitoring and Inventory Handling:

  • Prepare raw materials for production processes.

  • Handle and monitor inventory levels effectively.

  • Conduct visual quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

  • Update daily downtime records and monitor yield for process optimization.

• Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and all job duties.

  • Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date.

• Assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 1 to 2 years related working experience in semiconductor industry is preferred.

• Prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data tracking and reporting.

• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning machine technologies and procedures.

• Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

• This will be a 2-year contract position.

• Willing to work in 12-hour rotating shift (4 working day/3 rest day/3 working day/4 rest day).

• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary.
