Associate Merchandiser - #1117362

Supporting the Buyer (Prestige Cosmetics & Fragrances), you will ensure timely and complete execution of tasks to drive promotion and activation at Store or Online.  Overall support to achieve the Dept and Company Targets including gross / net sales, and turnover objectives.

•  Consolidate and prepare brands’ advertising and promotions plans and schedules;

• Submit request to all relevant departments or external partners for support and execution;

• Conduct reviews and post-mortem report for every campaign / event to share with team and to cross reference for future planning;

• Analyze inventory and sales reports and take appropriate action to maintain healthy stock on hand, to achieve sales and profit goals;

• Check on brands / competitors’ advertising and promotions activities to maintain / ensure competitive offering at Metro;

• Communicate with Store Planning, Store Operation and Visual Marketing teams for brands’ change of counter display and Store access;

• Provide operational support at Store or Warehouse from time-to-time basis; and

• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 Work Location: Ang Mo Kio, onsite work arrangement

 Requirements:

• Diploma holder or at least 3 years’ experience in similar retail environment

• Detailed and the ability to follow through

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Good business acumen

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• 5-day work week, 8:30am - 6:15pm
