Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the nursing home to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-centric care delivery.

• Manage manpower allocation, scheduling, and deployment of nursing staff to meet service requirements and regulatory standards.

• Oversee pharmacy stock, medical supplies, and equipment inventory to ensure availability, accuracy, and compliance with MOH regulations.

• Establish and maintain clinical quality standards, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and professional guidelines in geriatric and palliative care.

• Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, compassion, and accountability.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, therapists, social workers, pharmacists) to deliver holistic care and support new service setups.

• Lead organisational pandemic preparedness, infection prevention, and control programmes in line with MOH and public health directives.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and licensing requirements, and prepare for internal and external audits.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, conduct incident reviews, and drive patient safety programmes.

• Serve as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external agencies, providing timely communication and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with valid registration under the Singapore Nursing Board.

• Minimum 8–10 years of nursing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial role in a nursing home, community hospital, or healthcare institution.

• Strong knowledge of geriatric care, infection control, and MOH regulations for long-term care facilities.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to lead diverse teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
