Our client is a Japanese trading firm supplying a broad range of products, including steel, non-ferrous metals, food, fuel, chemicals, lumber, machinery, and more, to a diverse customer base. They are currently seeking a Logistics Officer to join their team.

You will report directly to the General Manager.


【 Responsibilities 】
- Assist with daily operations of the logistics department.
- Analyze shipping market data and provide forecasts.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop and optimize logistics networks.
- Manage chartering and operation of shipments.
- Handle logistics for domestic, import, export, and inter-country trade.
- Maintain a deep understanding of logistics processes and the shipping market.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with logistics and shipping companies.
- Manage the overall operation of concluding transportation contracts with overseas customers.
- Negotiate trade terms and conditions with shipping companies.

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Minimum diploma holder.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in a freight forwarding company (excluding administrative or clerical roles).
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (speaking, writing, and listening) to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in a logistics or shipping company.

(Advantageous)
- Possess customs broker license
