The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing engaging, effective, and learner-centered training solutions to support organizational learning objectives. This role involves analyzing learning needs, designing curriculum and content, and evaluating learning effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess training needs through research, stakeholder interviews, and learner analysis.
Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, manuals, and assessments.
Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning solutions.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy.
Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise) to build digital courses.
Implement learning solutions on Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Ensure instructional materials meet accessibility and quality standards.
Stay up to date with trends in learning design and educational technologies.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
Proven experience designing instructional content for adult learners.
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia production.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of assessment methods and learning analytics.
