IoT Specialist | Yearly Renewable Contract | Up to $7.5k - #1116877

Job Description:

a) Support the development/review of IoT/OT security framework and risk assessment based on latest IoT security best practices

b) Manage the IoT/OT governance that may be subject to cybersecurity requirements under IoT/OT security framework

c) Translate IoT/OT security framework into technical specifications for business users and/or project team's implementation

d) Review and evaluate IoT/OT risk assessment submitted by business users and/or project teams and provide guidance in terms of cybersecurity

e) Engage external auditors to identify and remediate security gaps in existing projects

f) Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management and/or regulatory bodies, to align in governance and compliance efforts

g) Any other tasks related to IoT/OT as assigned by the supervisors

Working Experience and Skill Requirement:

a) Must have at least three (3) years’ post graduate experience in IT

b) Must have two (2) years’ working experience in IoT/OT

c) Must have the following knowledge or experience but not limited to:

• IoT/OT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, LoRa, Zigbee

• IoT/OT device management

• IoT/OT security using industry best practices and frameworks

• Industrial Control Systems (ICS) & Supervisory Control, Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) & Distributed Control Systems (DCS)"

d) Operating System such as Windows or Linux

e) Networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP etc

f) Must be willing to pick up skills in cloud deployments such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
