Basic Care Assistant (Inpatient Ward) ,2 Shift - #1116773

Our client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their inpatient team as a Ward Service Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting patients’ food or meal related needs.

Key Responsibilities

Primary (80%)

• Assist patients who require help with feeding.

• Ensure patients’ meals are ordered and delivered accurately and on time.

• Clear food trays promptly after meals.

• Adhere strictly to infection control practices.

• Escalate patients’ feedback or concerns to the nursing team.

• Provide patients and their next-of-kin with basic advice on fall precautions and infection control practices.

Secondary (20%)

• Maintain tidiness of the ward, pantry, and clean utility.

• Track and maintain pantry inventories, reporting shortages promptly to supervisors.

• Support ad hoc tasks assigned by Executives or Ward Nurse Clinicians.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities.

Requirements

• Minimum Secondary education.

• Prior experience in a healthcare or F&B is of added advantage.

• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
