Our client, a reputable freight forwarding company, is looking for a Marine Control Tower Executive to work on a 6-month contract and support operations in the Europe time zone. In this role, you will coordinate and monitor urgent marine spare parts shipments, ensure accurate shipment data, communicate with clients and internal teams, resolve delivery issues, and support basic billing tasks.
Job Info:
Salary: Up to $5,000 (Basic + Transport Allowance)
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Location: West area; nearest MRT station is Clementi
Contract: 6-month contract (renewable)
Job Scopes:
Key Responsibilities
Be the main point of contact for daily operations related to ship spare parts shipments at all hubs.
Communicate closely with clients’ purchasers, technical teams, and vessel managers.
Track and coordinate purchase orders (POs) and shipments to make sure spare parts reach vessels on time, worldwide.
Work with hub teams to update shipment milestones and ensure full status visibility for the client.
Data & Documentation
Record cargo arrival and exit dates, and upload documents on time (within 1 business day).
Enter all shipment details (quantity, size, weight, special cargo info).
Track final vessel delivery and upload Proof of Delivery (POD) promptly.
Shipment Coordination
Plan shipments by air, sea, or truck to meet vessel schedules.
Send pre-alerts and shipping documents to receiving stations or agents.
Track shipments until final delivery and make sure PODs are collected.
Billing Support
Combine billing invoices from different hubs.
Record freight costs in CargoWise for monthly billing.
Keep billing logs updated for finance tracking.
Check inter-company invoices and help prepare monthly billing reports.
Job Requirements:
Experience in air/sea freight and supply chain coordination.
Familiarity with CargoWise or similar logistics systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail for documentation and data accuracy.
Good communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable with the stated working hours and able to arrange own transportation (transport allowance provided).
