Key Responsibilities
Pre-Procedure (Endoscopy):
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilised, functional, and ready for use.
Receive and assess patients prior to procedures, ensuring consent forms and documentation are complete.
Educate patients and caregivers on preparation and aftercare instructions.
Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures, maintaining strict infection control standards.
Intra- & post-procedure:
Support physicians and anaesthetists during procedures as needed.
Monitor patients immediately post-procedure for vital signs, airway, and consciousness levels.
Communicate effectively with the clinical team regarding patient status.
Ensure smooth patient handover or discharge after recovery.
Requirements
Essential:
Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
Strong clinical assessment, observation, and teamwork skills.
Good communication and patient-service orientation.
Preferred:
Prior experience in Endoscopy / Operating Theatre / Day Surgery.
BCLS and ACLS certifications.
