Reporting to Group HR Director, this role will lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners to deliver strategic and operational HR support across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving people strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR advice, coaching, and solutions to leaders and employees across the company.
Job Responsibilities:
o Working closely with the Group HR Director, you will collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to understand business priorities, challenges, and future plans.
o Offer strategic HR insights and guidance on organizational development, talent strategy, workforce optimization, and culture shaping.
o Partner with leaders to drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during restructures, growth phases, or process transformations.
o Lead the execution of core HR activities and processes across the employee lifecycle, including:
o Performance management – drive consistent application of performance frameworks; support leaders in setting KPIs, coaching, and conducting reviews.
o Employee engagement – design and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and boost employee morale.
o Employee relations – handle complex employee issues with professionalism and compliance; guide managers on conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
o Lead the annual manpower planning process, partnering with business units to forecast headcount and align with business plans.
o Monitor and control manpower budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial constraints and business priorities.
o Track actual vs planned headcount, flagging variances and collaborating with the leaders to adjust plans accordingly.
o Maintain accurate manpower records and oversee HR data reporting and analytics.
o Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, engagement scores, and manpower data to uncover workforce insights and support data-driven decision-making.
o Develop and present reports to senior management with recommendations to improve HR and business performance.
o Champion the company's values and culture, embedding them into all HR initiatives and day-to-day team behaviors.
o Identify opportunities to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and well-being through policies, programs, and manager support.
o Being a trusted advisor to both HR team members and business leaders in cultivating an inclusive, respectful, and high-performance workplace.
o Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company values and regulatory requirements.
o Ensure the team and business leaders understand and consistently apply these policies across the organization.
o Monitor compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and ethical practices, providing training and awareness as needed.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution.
· Minimum 8 years of HR generalist experience, with a strong track record in a business partnering capacity and at least 5 years in a managerial/team leadership role.
· Solid understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and statutory requirements.
· Experience in high-volume industries is preferred.
· Demonstrated success in implementing HR policies, performance systems, talent programs, and change initiatives.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with HRIS platforms is a plus.
