What you'll be doing?
SGX Catalist Compliance: Ensure comprehensive compliance with SGX Catalist rules, IFRS/SFRS standards, and corporate governance requirements while overseeing timely preparation of financial reports, regulatory filings, and investor disclosures.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise effectively with SGX sponsors, auditors, and regulators on critical compliance matters, maintaining transparent communication and ensuring all regulatory obligations are met consistently.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate policies while overseeing audits to ensure the highest integrity of financial reporting processes.
Treasury & Risk Management: Manage cash flow optimization, liquidity planning, and working capital management while overseeing financing strategies, debt structuring, and banking relationships to support business growth.
Financial Risk Mitigation: Monitor and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company maintains strong financial health and resilience in dynamic market conditions.
Performance Analysis: Develop comprehensive KPIs to track profitability and business performance while implementing effective budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis systems.
Financial Systems Innovation: Lead ERP enhancements and financial process automation initiatives, driving digital transformation to improve reporting efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Strategic Advisory: Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the Board while supporting M&A, restructuring, and business expansion initiatives.
Who are they looking for?
Professional Qualification: You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification preferred, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence and technical expertise.
SGX Listed Experience: You bring at least 5 years of experience in financial management with specific exposure to SGX-listed companies, understanding the unique requirements and complexities of public company operations.
Regulatory Expertise: You possess strong knowledge of SGX Catalist compliance requirements, sponsor dealings, and financial reporting obligations that are essential for maintaining listing status and investor confidence.
Technical Excellence: You have proven expertise in IFRS/SFRS standards, corporate governance principles, and internal controls implementation, ensuring comprehensive financial management capabilities.
Stakeholder Management: You demonstrate extensive experience managing relationships with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions, building trust and maintaining professional partnerships effectively.
Systems Proficiency: You are proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Dynamics 365, enabling you to leverage technology for enhanced financial management and reporting.
Strategic Experience: You ideally have experience in M&A transactions, restructuring activities, and fundraising initiatives, bringing valuable insights for supporting company growth strategies.
Contract & Risk Assessment: You have strong analytical skills for reviewing key financial contracts and assessing compliance risks, ensuring comprehensive risk management across all financial operations.
