1 in 4 people in Singapore may develop cancer in their lifetime. At the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS), we believe that empowering the public with knowledge and encouraging early detection are key to reducing cancer’s impact on individuals, families, and our community.
We are seeking a passionate and driven Senior Executive, Cancer Prevention & Control to join our Cancer Prevention & Control (CPC) team. In this role, you will help shape public education, advocacy, and outreach initiatives that strengthen cancer literacy, reduce stigma, and improve screening uptake across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advocacy, Public Education & Campaigns
Champion user-centred advocacy initiatives to destigmatise cancer and promote early detection.
Conduct landscape scans and research to inform content and programme development.
Conceptualise, produce, and manage a suite of multi-format, multilingual cancer education materials — from research and curation to translation and distribution.
Plan, execute, and evaluate impactful cancer awareness and prevention campaigns/events end-to-end, in collaboration with internal teams (e.g. Marketing & Communications) and external stakeholders (e.g. healthcare partners, agencies, and vendors).
Conduct post-campaign evaluations to generate actionable insights and improve future efforts.
2. Strategic Partnerships & Outreach
Build and strengthen partnerships with community organisations, corporate partners, and healthcare institutions to extend programme reach and impact.
Support broader CPC outreach, navigation, and advocacy initiatives as part of a collaborative team effort.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a Health/Allied Health-related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, non-profit, or community services (preferred).
Strong skills in marketing, communications, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Adaptable, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Empathy and sensitivity when working with cancer patients, survivors, and the wider community.
