Quantity Surveyor - Electrical Engineering - #1115784

•Prepare detailed cost estimation for Electrical systems.

•Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that Electrical SOW costs are controlled and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.

•Prepare and issue tenders for Electrical works, evaluate tenders, and make recommendations based on cost, quality, and compliance.

•Analyse Electrical designs and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

•Manage contracts related to Electrical works, including negotiating terms and conditions and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

•Conduct site measurements to verify quantities and prepare interim valuations for progress payments.

•Assess and manage variations and change orders, providing cost implications and justifications.

•Identify potential risks associated with Electrical works and develop strategies to mitigate them.

•Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that Electrical systems are integrated into the overall project plan.

•Prepare regular reports on cost status, forecasts, and project financial performance for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•Degree / Diploma / Specialist Diploma / Advance Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Eletrcial Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized University or Training Institute.

•At least 3 years of relevant experience in QS field industrial, commercial or data centre projects.

•Proficient in cost estimation.

•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

•Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
