Quantity Surveyor - #1115475

Responsibilities:

•             Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budgets for construction projects.

•             Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids

•             Sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers

•             Conduct site measurements, check site progress for claims purposes, prepare progress reports and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.

•             Prepare progress claims and project variation including monitoring progress

•             Assess, value and prepare subcontractors’ progress payments and final claims

•             Evaluate subcontractors’ variation order

•             Track project costs and variations to ensure the project stays within budget

•             Attend site and Consultant/ Technical meetings

•             Perform any duties and responsibilities or other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the immediate Superior

Requirements:

•             Degree or Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying in construction field or equivalent

•             Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Main Contractor’s firms

•             Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, hardworking, proactive, good team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

•             Candidates with procurement experience will be an added advantage.

•             Possesses good communication skills
