Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prepare GL journals and manage the monthly financial closing process in a timely and accurate manner

• Cash management planning such as reviewing cashflow forecast and ensuring sufficient cash balances for operational needs

• Responsible for inter-company bank reconciliations

• Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation to ensure items are cleared off on a timely basis

• Prepare financial forecasts

• Oversee GST submission and reconciliation

• Assist with internal and external audit processes and controls as required

• Perform any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS 

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent

• 3 years of relevant working experience within the construction industry

• Prior experience using Sage 300 (Accpac) is an advantage

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
