Purchasing Executive | Transport provided | Lakeside MRT - #1115305

• Source, select, appoint and assess service vendors in accordance to the Organization's procurement procedures and policies

• Ensure timely renewal of term contract services

• Monitor market trends for Food & Beverage products and services

• Maintain costing data and approved vendors listing

• Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.

• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department

• Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders

• Ensure products are delivered and respond to any changes in customer demand timely

• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones

• Attending trade events

• Performs other tasks or projects assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain/Logistic or equivalent qualifications

• At least 1 to 2 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in Food & Beverage industry

• Knowledge of SAP will be an add on point

• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good team player and able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment

• Able to start work within short notice
