Responsibilities:

• Execute routine QC testing and analyses of packaging materials, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. (e.g. sensory evaluation, moisture analyses, density, refractive index, etc)

• Conduct calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments (e.g., balances, titrators, densitometers, refractometers) to maintain precision and reliability of results.

• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in laboratory and quality processes.

• Investigate non-conformances and out-of-specification (OOS) results, and support or conduct root cause analyses.

• Manage the timely release of packaging, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, balancing lead-time requirements with strict adherence to quality and food safety standards.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, optimize operational efficiency, and promote a safe and sustainable workplace.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Food Science/Chemistry or related studies.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar field with laboratory testing methods and instruments (balances, titrators, refractometers, densitometers, etc.).

• Proficiency in calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
