Job Description

• Provide technical assistance for preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment

• Ensure that proper records of maintenance works are being kept in the section under charge

• Ensure high quality service level, ensuring rapid response to minimize downtime of equipment as part of maintenance planning and control

• Assist in the investigation of damage/accident and preparation of the necessary report

• Plan advance preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance work to minimise equipment downtime

• Do recommendation and seek approval for all ordering spare parts for all equipment

• Ensures safety policies, practices, administration are enforced and complied during work

• Ensures all recovery tools and equipment in operational readiness etc.

• Ensures all warehouse facilities and housekeeping are in good working condition

• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety and security policies and procedures

• Liaise and follow-up with vendors on matters relating to maintenance works

• Preparation and control of technical check-sheets for maintenance works

• Report to superior on matters relating any maintenance work required

• Keep proper records and filling of works carried out. 

• Preparation of necessary reports on related maintenance works

• Ensure that maintenance work is being carried out

• Preparation of quotations for parts/renovation works

• Issue Job instructions for works

 Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering

• Preferably with additional training and / or work experience in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and processes which are necessary for the competent maintenance of automatic and/or semi-automatic equipment
