About the role:
The role will assist the Data Analyst, Assistant Manager to plan, analyse, forecast, and evaluate data to support business projects and report and providing inventory and availability KPIs to category planning leads and to drive availability improvement initiatives. You will help develop dashboard and reporting to identify key areas for improvement and develop dashboard and report to ensure consistent execution.
What will you be doing?
Conduct data analysis and prepare findings and recommendations.
Troubleshoot data inaccuracies.
Prepare presentation and follow up with the relevant stakeholders.
Understand business model and support supply chain projects and initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders to drive supply chain programs.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
Develop understanding of both historical demand and potential future impacts to sales to improve demand forecasting.
Monitor and track KPI, drive performance and perform root cause analysis.
Track and analyze stock days, out of stock, on shelve availability, slow moving stocks, sales, and demand, forecast accuracy.
Support category planning team analysis.
Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.
Generate weekly report to review the vendor’s service level performance.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation through data-driven insights.
Work with top suppliers to jointly drive program to improve supplier chain.
About You
Degree in Business, preferably majoring in Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar capacity.
Experienced in forecasting, data analytics, inventory planning, supply chain concepts, statistical forecasting, and related processes.
Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office and SAP software.
Having knowledge in other merchandising software and BI tools will be added advantage
Dynamic, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
Strong analytical capability, excellent negotiation, and planning skills.
Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
