Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Financial Close: Prepare GL journals and manage the monthly financial close process with precision and timeliness.

• Cash Management: Review cashflow forecasts and ensure sufficient balances for operational needs.

• Reconciliations: Handle inter-company and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Audit Support: Prepare schedules and reconciliations for audits, ensuring all items are cleared promptly.

• Financial Forecasting: Develop and prepare financial forecasts to support business planning.

• GST Management: Oversee GST submission and reconciliation processes.

• Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audit processes as required.

• Adaptability: Take on additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to learn.
  

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification, showcasing your expertise in the field.

• Industry Experience: Ideally 3 years of experience in a construction environment, though we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds.

• Software Proficiency: Experience with Sage 300 (Accpac) is advantageous but not essential.

• Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks efficiently.

• Team Player: Strong collaborative skills with a responsible attitude and excellent work ethic.
