About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team at KTC. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimized system performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Clementi West Region.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing, implementing and maintaining robust enterprise-level IT systems and networks

2. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal system uptime and user productivity

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related business requirements

4. Researching and evaluating new technologies to recommend and implement solutions that drive efficiency and innovation

5. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

6. Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all IT systems and processes

7. Ensuring all IT systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

What we're looking for

1. 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar technical role

2. Extensive knowledge of enterprise-level IT systems, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization

3. Proven track record of designing, implementing and maintaining complex IT infrastructures

4. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

7. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies, such as VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux

8. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, RHCE) are highly desirable
