Responsibilities

• Support the design and technical team in major infrastructure projects, ensuring design solutions meet client requirements and specifications.

• Coordinate with consultants and clients using a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure integration with overall project needs and regulatory compliance.

• Assist in preparing and monitoring design schedules and submissions (temporary and permanent works) to AC, client, and BCA in line with the construction program.

• Contribute to optimizing design proposals to help reduce construction costs.

• Provide technical solutions for complex site issues and resolve discrepancies during project execution.

• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution with relevant technical input.

• Assist in guiding and allocating tasks to Senior/Design Engineers to meet project design requirements.

• Prepare Site Construction and Design Coordination (SCD) documents for consultant review and advice on site issues or changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by the Professional Engineers Board) or a qualification accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for Resident Engineer application are welcome to apply.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, including at least 8 years in the design of complex rail or road projects is preferred.
