OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE


The Sales & Business Development Lead supports the GM in driving new business revenue streams and expanding platform opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia. This role supervise and train the Sales team, ensuring consistent performance and execution to achieve and exceed our sales goals. The position is also responsible for aggressively expanding the client base, cultivating strong client relationships, managing key accounts and directly contributing to sales.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Product Strategy and Commercial Strategy

  • Supports in driving new business revenue streams and expanding platform opportunities

  • Lead business development initiatives by identifying and developing enterprise solutions, acquiring new corporate clients

  • Responsible for business development of event spaces by mapping local opportunities generating and qualifying leads and closing deals through a series of trainings/ events

  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals

  • Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the global and local partner network

  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes and publish monthly insights on demand patterns

 

Sales Responsibilities

  • Proposed continuously improve rate cards, inventory mix and other service based on utilization data

  • Build, develop, sustains and leverage on relationships with clients and key partners within the business arena and real estate agency community to generate new leads and develop new accounts

  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate and successfully close deals, with a strong track record of conversions

 

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Train and guide the sales team to develop into business development specialists and achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Implement disciplined sales processes, CRM hygiene, and pipeline management across both markets.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the global and local partner network, including refining tiered incentives to improve performance and outcomes

  • Collaborate with internal resources within Arcc Group to drive larger sales and opportunities

  • Performs any other ad-hoc functions assigned by the Management


Forecasting, Analytics & Governance

  • Utilizes the Company’s CRM system, Salesforce, to effectively track and report on sales progress including team performance, win/loss analysis and return on investment (ROI).

  • Monitor lead sources, customer acquisition cost, sales cycle and pricing power; make data‑led recommendations

  • Provide reports on account strategy shifts, tactical budgets and other relevant insights to management

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building rules, and contract standards; manage risk and credit controls in collaboration with Finance & Legal.

 

ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • 7 years in B2B growth roles within serviced office, commercial real estate, co-working, hospitality across Singapore and/or Malaysia

  • Experience in business development with the ability to generate own leads for enterprise and corporate and event sales, drive results and supervise the sales team in multi-market

  • Strong network among landlords and brokerage firms in Singapore and/or Malaysia.

  • Effervescent, driven personality with passion, interest, conviction and discerning abilities to build up professional network

  • A creative and visual thinker who is highly organized, innovative and driven to push boundaries; independent and mature in approach

  • Excellent negotiation, relationship building and executive presence

  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate and successfully close deals, with a strong track record of conversions

  • Numeric and analytical

  • Proactively takes ownership of challenges and develops effective solutions

  • Hands‑on with CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), pipeline management, and proposal development

  • Comfortable in a KPI‑driven culture with clear playbooks, weekly pipeline reviews, and post‑mortems after major pursuits and launches.

  • Role is stationed based in Singapore with regular business travel Kuala Lumpur

  • Degree in Business and/or related fields
