Role Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical systems on cranes and heavy machinery.
Diagnose and resolve faults in wiring, control systems, and electrical components for various crane types and trailer trucks.
Respond promptly to electrical issues and breakdowns, minimizing equipment downtime while upholding safety protocols.
Plan and implement preventive maintenance routines to enhance reliability and extend the lifespan of electrical systems.
Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support to workshop and field teams.
Keep precise records of electrical repairs, parts used, and service history.
Assist with procurement and management of electrical spare parts to maintain workshop productivity.
Perform independent field repairs and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Take on additional responsibilities assigned by management as needed.
Candidate Requirements
NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Minimum of two years related experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the crane or heavy equipment industry.
Proficient understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, control panels, and safety systems.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities, able to work efficiently under pressure.
Awareness of hydraulic and mechanical systems is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and highly focused on safety.
Effective communicator, collaborative team player, with the ability to work independently.
Willing and able to perform fieldwork as required.
