IFM - Business Development Manager - #1114633

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the FM sector, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government clients.

• Develop and implement short- and long-term business development strategies in line with company goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as property developers, REITs, and managing agents.

• Source, qualify, and follow up on leads through tenders, networking, referrals, cold calls, and digital platforms.

• Grow the client pipeline across IFM services, including cleaning, security, M&E (mechanical & electrical), landscaping, and pest control.

• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

• Lead and coordinate tender submissions for both public and private sector projects.

• Work closely with operations, technical, pricing, and compliance teams to prepare competitive bids.

• Ensure tender submissions meet all technical, commercial, and administrative requirements.

• Carry out market research to monitor competitors, pricing, industry trends, and new technologies in the FM sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).

• At least 6–8 years’ experience in IFM or related sectors (facilities, maintenance contracts, or services), with proven success in tendering, bids, and client management.

• Strong experience in team leadership, large contract negotiation, and strategic account management.

• Good knowledge of FM services and industry developments.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in CRM and proposal management tools.

• Strong commercial awareness with strategic thinking skills.

• Team player with good project management abilities.

• Tier 2 Facilities Management (CMFE) certification is required.
