Senior Fullstack Developer (Python & AWS) - #1114474

Remuneration: Base + Bonus = up to 170K per annum (Salary to commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Public Sector) with strong expertise in Python, AWS and React.js to deliver end-to-end cloud-native solutions. This role involves building scalable applications, integrating with AWS services, and contributing to innovative projects involving Generative AI (AWS Bedrock). You will also mentor junior developers and work closely with cross-functional agile teams to deliver impactful solutions for the public sector.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, boto3 SDK).

• Build responsive and dynamic frontend applications using React.js.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS (Fargate).

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.

• Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, ECS Fargate.

• Apply Generative AI principles (RAG, AWS Bedrock, Knowledge Bases) in solution development.

• Translate business and technical requirements into functional specifications.

• Conduct code reviews, lead technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.

• Participate in testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes promptly.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile development team to deliver projects successfully.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Min 5 years of experience in Python backend development (FastAPI, boto3) & AWS Lambda.

• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks is a strong plus.

• Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration with AWS ECS.

• Experience with Generative AI, RAG patterns, and AWS Bedrock.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Proven track record with DevOps practices, CI/CD setup, and cloud-native deployments.

• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud application architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

• Ability to own projects end-to-end, from design to production support.

Good-to-have:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Exposure to serverless frameworks and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
