Licensing Executive - #1114379

Responsibilities:

• Acquire intellectual property (IP) rights from external companies to collaborate with trading card games.

• Source and identify new business opportunities with companies whose IP aligns with our products.

• Negotiate and execute new and renewable license agreements to comply with contractual requirements and maximise revenue opportunities.

• Negotiate royalty terms and minimum guarantees with IP holders.

• Create and manage licensing business documents, processes, and records in both Japanese and English, including agreements/contracts administration, rights management, product release calendars, tracking of payments and royalties, and facilitating additional copyright licences as required.

• Assist in the approval process of licensed products and marketing materials.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate/Professional Degree in any field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong schedule management and multitasking abilities.

• Effective decision-making, strong negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances.

• Basic knowledge of games and/or anime is an advantage.

• Willing to work on some weekends/public holidays for company events.

• Open to overseas travel for business trips when required.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,800 + Variable Bonus

• Monday to Friday, 7.5 hrs + 1 hr lunch break
