Senior Assistant Director, Strategic Procurement & Digital Solutions (Govt) - #1114267

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive procurement excellence and digital transformation. In this role, you will guide a high-performing team to design and implement innovative procurement strategies, streamline processes, and leverage data analytics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and implement procurement policies and strategies, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
• Review and optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and foster innovation.
• Lead the adoption of digital tools and analytics dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Apply data-driven approaches to demand forecasting, sourcing, and contract management.
• Promote best practices and collaboration across business units to standardise procurement procedures.
• Advise teams throughout the procurement lifecycle and support effective decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor expenditure, and assist in budget planning.
• Monitor procurement performance and report on key trends and anomalies.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in government procurement or strategic sourcing, with proven analytical capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of IM (Procurement), IM (Revenue), GeBIZ, and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented, meticulous, and adaptable to evolving priorities and deadlines.
• Passionate about procurement, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
