Responsibilities
Drawing & Drafting
• Overall responsible for preparing detailed, requirement, and working drawings.
• Ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions through coordination with site teams.
• Create topographic maps, boundary surveys, subdivision layouts, and site plans.
• Use AutoCAD or similar software to produce scalable and detailed drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, or engineers.
• Liaise with field survey teams to clarify data and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance of drawings with regulatory specifications.
• Proficiency in ‘ArcGIS’ / ‘ArcMap’ software will be considered an added advantage.
Quantity Surveying & Cost Management
• Perform material quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• In charge of material take-off, cost estimation, cost planning, and cost control.
• Preparation of tender documentation, bills of quantities, and pricing.
• Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
• Preparation of monthly valuations for progress payments and verification of subcontractor claims.
• Prepare and assist in monitoring progress claims and payments.
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
• Performing risk and value management for projects.
• Assisting in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
Contract Administration
• Assist in pre- and post-contract administration work.
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the architect and/or client.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and assist in resolving contractual disputes.
• Settle final accounts.
• Allocate work to subcontractors and monitor compliance.
Reporting & Support
• Analysing outcomes and preparing detailed progress reports.
• Support other departmental functions as needed.
• Undertake other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma equivalent or relevant technical degree.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant job working experience.
· AutoCAD drafting knowledge is a must
· Knowledge of land surveying software, ESS drawings of utilities and processing of survey data is an advantage
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Good communication skills
· Able to meet tight deadline
· Able to work in a team as well as independently
