Job Description
The Role: (Senior Accountant)
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to handle accounts for Indonesian subsidiaries. In this role, you will work closely with, and report directly to CFO. You will be responsible for the following:
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the finance function of our Indonesian group of subsidiaries
Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to policy, processes, improve systems and financial performance
Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting
Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
Responsible for all accounting functions and tasks
Responsible for consolidation for 2 sub-group accounts
Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, lawyers, consultant, investors and etc.
Budgeting and cash flow management
Liaison with banker for financing matters
Must have a "can-do" approach and be able to drive change within the organization
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by CFO
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher (CA / CPA / MBA a plus)
Experience of working in a regional role with exposure to potential matters related to a multinational organization and legislations in various APAC countries highly preferred
Proactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast moving, multicultural startup environment
Strong analytical skills with structured thinking capabilities
Good knowledge of IFRS and experience of providing analysis of transactions, other events under IFRS
Experience of working on consolidation of group accounts preferred
4 to 5 years' of relevant working experience (Preferable to have prior experience in Big 4 audit firm)
Good written and verbal English skills - confident with communicating across all levels within and outside the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Confident, mature and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strengths in process design, diving deep, thinking big and a strong bias for action
Experience in SAP B1 systems
