Employment Term: 15-month traineeship, paid on allowance without CPF
Work location: 15 Joo Koon Circle
Work hours: 8am to 5pm, Mon to Fri
Job Summary:
Supports the Production by assisting in daily tasks and maintaining adherence to quality and safety standards. Ensures compliance with protocols to facilitate smooth and efficient production processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist shift Supervisors, Team Leaders and Team Members to achieve daily production goals.
Assist in investigating open Deviations and Out-of-Specification (OOS) events to ensure their timely and effective resolution and support the implementation of CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
Help coordinate change control activities by preparing necessary documentation and tracking progress.
Contribute to a right-first-time culture by maintaining attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
Assist in creating/updating Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and Work Instructions (WI) by drafting the procedures and coordinating feedback collaboration.
Participate in problem-solving initiatives using basic methodologies to help identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Assist in troubleshooting production processes to address product issues and improve efficiency.
Engage in cross-functional project discussions and provide support during implementation.
Support process improvement initiatives by engaging in LEAN activities and suggesting improvements.
Maintain adherence to all gowning protocols to ensure contamination prevention.
Foster teamwork within the department by contributing positively to group tasks and communications.
Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in daily tasks.
Ensure Compliance with Global Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Engage in personal development and training opportunities to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Support stock take activities and ensure that variance is within budget.
Work with vendor to close Safety/Quality CAPA and minor machine design changes & fabrication
Support equipment calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience or internship in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not required.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or methodologies, such as LEAN.
Familiarity with safety rules, operating instructions, and basic regulatory requirements.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in basic IT applications and documentation practices.

No traveling required.
