YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the QHSE department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
Establish, implement, and maintain QHSE management system and ensure that it continues to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GDP and other related standards.
Conduct Annual Management Review with all Department Heads and Managers to ensure the sustainability and compliance of the company’s Quality Management System.
Act as Management Representative on QHSE matters for external and customers audits.
Act as Primary liaison to external parties on matters concerning QHSE related issues and attend to local authorities on unannounced visits, eg. SCDF, MOM.
Plan, assist and perform regular quality, health, safety & environmental training to all departments to ensure adherence to the QHSE system on all levels.
Facilitate and lead any external QHSE Audits and other related certifications.
Ensure corrective actions are taken as a result of internal QHSE audits, customer complaint/feedback, management reviews and external audits where appropriate.
Involved in customer enquiry for tender and RFQ as main PIC on QHSE matters.
Plan and monitor team performance including coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes.
Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division.
Oversee QHSE function in countries supported by Singapore QHSE, including Brunei, Indonesia and Timor Leste.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Essential
Minimum degree holder
Certified auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Certified WSH Officer
Minimum 10 years’ experience in QHSE function, preferably in logistics industry.
Familiar with local legal requirements and industry-specific requirements.
Strong leader and good team player
Strategic thinker
Strong communication and influence skills
Adaptable and tenacious
Desirable
Familiar with other relevant standards, eg. GDP, AS 9120 and ISO 13485.
Experience in healthcare, aerospace or luxury product industry.
Operational knowledge in contract logistics, freight management and project logistics.
Diplomatic, perceptive and collaborative representing Singapore QHSE internally and externally
