Responsibilities
· Lead or support qualification of new components and requalification activities (e.g., Product Change Notifications) in line with company’s Product Life Cycle and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes.
· Plan, initiate, and oversee advanced quality measures during the design and development phases to ensure supplier components meet all technical and quality requirements.
· Work closely with global and cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, Local SQM, Customer Quality, and Logistic.
· Participate in the review of corrective actions from VDA 6.3 audits, with a strong focus on early involvement and preventive measures.
· Contribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across the category, organization, and supplier base.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years working experience in Automotive Industry.
· Good understanding of Component Introduction in design and development phase and APQP management
· Ability to understand, discuss and align technical requirements with high focus on requirements engineering based on drawings and specifications
· Good knowledge in process for plastic overmolding/molding and its secondary process with cosmetic requirement, stamping, press-fit stamping, sub-component assembly, automated inline testing, wire cutting/terminating for cable assemblies
· Strong Knowledge in quality related methodologies and standards (eg. FMEA, 8D review, 5why, Problem Solving, etc)
