Technician - #1113607

Beng Hock Mechanical Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Technician to join our team in the Kranji North Region. This full-time role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of heavy commercial equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

What you'll be doing 

• Welding of metals work, installation, retrofitting, building of superstructure that includes: open top container, hooklift, lorry crane, rear-end loader, low-deck, self-loader, tow truck, auto ramp, tipper, stationary and mobile compactors etc

• Diagnose, repair, servicing of superstructure that includes: hooklift, rear-end loader (REL), dual compartment, sideloader, low-deck, auto ramp etc

• Ability to work independently and a good team player

• May be required to be deployed to attend onsite repair service call

• Test and calibrate vehicle systems to meet manufacturer specifications

• Usage of diagnostic tools, special tools, equipment to ensure accurate and effective repair works

• Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements

• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies

  
  

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or electrical & electronic engineering or automotive engineering, welding certifications etc

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in welding, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, heavy vehicle/equipment service and maintenance industry

• Must be a good team player and able to work under stress in a fast-moving environment

• Must be able to work 6 days' work a week

• Possess of a valid Singapore forklift, Class 3 & 4 driving license will be an advantage
