Job Summary:
The Strategic Product Manager drives the success of assigned product portfolio by comprehensive market analysis, forward-thinking product development, and proactive lifecycle management. This role ensures product meet evolving market demands in shaping growth strategies based on market dynamics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze customer needs and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with organiation’s strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, specifications, and value propositions. Develop and present business cases to justify new product investments.
Drive product development efforts by working closely with R&D, engineering, and other departments to ensure timely execution. Prioritize features, manage timelines, and ensure product design aligns with strategic goal.
Work closely with market product managers in global sales subsidiaries to tailor growth strategies and business initiatives based on regional market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
Actively track product performance, customer insights, and industry trends to provide data-driven recommendations for product customization, cost optimization, and feature enhancement.
Oversee the end-of-life process for products that are no longer aligned with market demand or strategic objectives, ensuring a smooth transition while minimizing risks to customers and the organization.
Job Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 7 years of working experience in Production Management in B2B or B2C technical products.
Posessess track records in regional product strategy development and implementation.
Strong background in product management demonstrated by either formal certification or experience in applying product management methodologies and industry best practice.
Good understanding of automation systems, including sensors, controllers and software platform relevant to industrial automation.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Strategic and analytical thinking.
Cross-functional collaboration and cooperation, mastering complexity and driving effectiveness.
